Estate jewelry, also called vintage or antique jewelry, is a term used for previously owned jewelry and jewelry made in earlier periods. It is not necessarily pre-worn. Many pieces of estate jewelry typically feature fine workmanship and high quality gemstones and many are also one-of-a-kind. To be called "antique", the jewelry must be more than 100 years old.
